Ojas Golden Milk recipe

This drink is comforting, sweet, grounding and nurturing. The Turmeric is an incredible anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant (and much more). The Ashwagandha is renowned in Ayurveda for being restorative and rejuvenative as well as relaxing. It promotes our vital OJAS or life energy and is incredible for our immunity.

I/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of cardamom
pinch of ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ashwagandha
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon local honey
Twist of black pepper
1 large cup almond, cashew or coconut milk (you can also use any other milk you wish of course)

Mix the cinnamon, ashwagandha, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper and turmeric in a cup with the honey and a little of the milk to make a paste.
Simmer the remaining milk in a pan and once warm add to the paste, stir and enjoy!
