Prasad is usually a small sweet treat that is offered in the spirit of devotion, often in a ceremony or special practice.
- 60g dessicated coconut
- 60g ground almonds
- Tablespoon of rose water
- Teaspoon cardamom
- Teaspoon cinnamon
- Teaspoon turmeric
- Honey, rice syrup or maple syrup (depends on preference)
Mix all dry ingredients and rose water in a bowl. Slowly drizzle in honey or syrup. Keep mixing and pressing until you can form a stuff dough. Break into pieces and roll into small balls, the size of a large marble. Lovely at a yoga event as a snack, at home or work as a sweet treat and especially delicious with a mid afternoon golden milk.
