Tuesday

  • 7am - 8am (from 15th Sept) - Flowing Practice

    Beach Yoga | Teignmouth

    Suitable for anyone who is fairly active.
    Meet in front of the Yacht club. Please bring your own mat.

  • 7:30 - 9pm (from 6th Oct) - Yoga practice 

    Raise the Barr in Teignmouth

    To include Asana, Pranayama and Meditation.
    Yoga is part of the Ayurvedic system, therefore it needs to be adapted for us all individually, once size does not fit all. 
    We will begin with a brief discussion on how everyone is feeling, consideration of the general group and individual energy. Practices offered will then be tailored to respond to the individual and group needs. Therefore some practices will be experienced as a group and I will also give you some individual suggestions.  

    £10 per class or £54 for six sessions booked in advance. Booking is essential. Please contact Virginia.

Thursday

  • 7am - 8am (from 17th Sept) - Gentle/beginners

    A gentle session suitable for anyone who is fairly active.
    Meet in front of the Yacht club. Please bring your own mat.

  • 6:15 - 7:45pm (from 10th Sept) - Yoga practice

Pranayama will form at least one third of the session (30 minutes).

    £10 per class, booking is essential and is done with Yoga Torquay.

  • 8pm - 9pm (from 10th Sept) - Restorative Yoga and deep relaxation

    This class is helpful for insomnia, physical and psychological tension and anxiety, as well as for general relaxation. Join Virginia to relax, let go of physical and emotional stress and completely relax and unwind for this nurturing one hour practice.

    Postures will be seated or lying and will be fully supported so that you can completely relax. There will be a focus on the breath to help to release anxiety and tension.
    The session will end with a long guided relaxation. Please bring blankets and cushions to make yourself comfortable.  

    £8 per class, booking is essential and is done with Yoga Torquay.
