THIS RETREAT IS FULLY BOOKED. WAITING LIST AVAILABLE. 3 nights, arrive Friday afternoon, depart Monday after breakfast. This is a retreat suitable for anyone, no particular experience of Yoga is required. The initial cost for this retreat is £216 per person (plus a donation, please see below for more details).
The principles of these retreat offerings are personal, holistic and quality group Yoga, Ayurveda and retreat experiences suitable for everyone. We take great care to ensure that we get to know you before the retreat so that we can tailor make the best possible experience and take extra special care of you whilst you are with us.
We are aiming during 2021 to keep our costs low so that these offerings can be accessible to more people. Therefore the price we ask you to pay covers the basics of your accommodation, all meals (vegetarian), and an Ayurvedic treatment. There will be three session of Yoga and meditation each day, plus ad hoc evening sessions depending on how everyone is feeling. You have the option of booking more Ayurvedic treatments if you wish. One to one Yoga during the retreat is also possible by donation. At the end of the retreat before you depart we ask that you give a further donation, this amount is up to you. The donation payment will be split 50% between Virginia, (your Yoga teacher and retreat host) and the charity who we support, The Country that Shook.
Here is an example of our daily schedule:
- 7-8:30am morning practice
- 8:30am breakfast
- 9am - 11am free time or massage treatment
- 11am - 1pm practice
- 1pm lunch
- 2pm - 4pm free time or massage treatment
- 4om - 6pm practice
- 6pm supper
- Evening, beach fire, yoga nidra or gathering as people wish
Our venue is the Wild Pear Centre in Coombe Martin. Accommodation is shared in a dormitory area, OR there are three more private twin type rooms available. Bathroom and showers are all shared. This area of North Devon is on the edge of the stunning Exmoor coastline. There is breathtaking coast and moorland scenery, ideal for walking and as it is right on the coast it is great for the beach and watersports, or some sunbathing and swimming! We often use the beach for gentle practices in the morning or for a fire in the evenings.
